Deze multidisciplinaire richtlijn rond detectie en behandeling van suïcidaal gedrag werd speciaal voor hulpverleners in de gezondheidszorg ontwikkeld door het Vlaams Expertisecentrum Suïcidepreventie. Binnen de gezondheidszorg is het immers van levensbelang dat hulpverleners het fenomeen (er)kennen en weten hoe ze ermee om moeten gaan. De richtlijn bevat dan ook aanbevelingen rond de volgende praktische thema's:- Detecteren en bespreken van suïcidaliteit- Interventies om het suïciderisico te verlagen- Wat te doen na een suïcidepoging?- Wat te doen na een suïcide? - Hoe moet je een suïcidepreventiebeleid opstellen?
